Members of our Engineering Team have been regular recent visitors to the Wrightbus headquarters in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. Over this period, we have installed CameraMatics systems on 162 buses as they have been built on the production line. From their very first journey, the buses will benefit from the full protection that CameraMatics systems offer – improving the safety of drivers, passengers, and other road users. The new buses will be in service across Rotala’s operations: Hallmark, Preston Bus, Diamond and Hotel Hoppa.

Improving Safety

In total as part of this run, over 2,500 pieces of hardware have been fitted as the buses were being produced. Each double-decker bus now benefits from a 15-camera configuration, providing full visibility for the driver and improved safety for passengers and road users. These new vehicles are in addition to over one hundred CameraMatics enhanced Rotala buses already in service across the UK.
